HIP HOP : The Good Samaritans

SOUNDS LIKE : J5, The Roots, Swollen Members

OMG! What's that I hear? Could it be? Real Hip Hop? In the Future?
Hailing from Quebec City and Vancouver, the Good Samaritans have been making music for over a decade. Their most recent online releases are already making moves around the underground hip hop djs with their warm and moody beats and rapid pace flow. It's nice to hear some great lyrics and fresh chorus' that are not all about cash and diamonds and clubs and booty. Not that there is anything wrong with cash and diamonds and clubs and booty, it just gets boring when you rhyme about it.

The Good Samaritans make music about life. It's real rhymes for real times with amazing word play and quite the cadence. Each song paints a picture as the beats set the mood dramatically. I am definitely putting Good Samaritans on my mobile device ie: iphone.
